I said the Credit Heist would be tomorrow on 11/9, re-iterating the announcement from that day. No one has set a release date for ships. We just know it's soon.
We worked so freaking hard, formed a new guild specifically to defeat the new raid, recruited all of the right people and after today we will have defeated the Heroic AAT 6 times! For all of our hard work, you now want to nerf the raid so all of the slackers can catch up? This is not okay! It was going to truly mean something for those that got General Kenobi! Now, it is going to just be another EA joke. If you absolutely MUST nerf the raid, please at least reward the guilds that have worked so hard by not nerfing it for about 3 months. That way we at least get an advantage that we deserve, even though it will be short lived! I bet if you just wait 3 months, enough guilds will be completing it and you actually won't have to nerf the event! This is right up there with the Yoda event! I got Yoda before you nerfed the event and that meant something. After the nerf, everyone and their grandma had Yoda. It was at least an achievement because Yoda himself is terrible. I misunderstood then. It's in the client restart thread about ships. But credit heist actually happened on the same day as the announcement saying 'tomorrow', which I am not complaining.
After two weeks credits drought, I got 5m same as many of my guild mates, barely enough for anything. We have been waiting long enough to deserve a little more than merely 5m. This is me complaining.

I want to point out the fact that the two new Rebel characters from the Rogue One that CG is about to release resemble very little facial characteristics of the two well known actors in the movie.
The one with a stick is a top action movie actor and the one with a gun is also an internationally recognised film director other than a top actor. He has been nominated and awarded some most important international movie awards for his work.
So please show some respect and ask the graphic team to do a little extra work to make them alike.
They have to pay likeness rights if the character faces are directly based on the actors' faces. That's why Mace, Rey, etc are all cartoony versions that deliberately only bear a passing resemblance.

Lando resembles 90% of the it's actor's facial characteristics, so is Count Duku (Sir Christopher Lee)
Mace is about 80% alike.
Han is about 70%, so is QGJ and Anakin. Luke too.
The two new Rebel characters are only 20% alike. So CG has done an excellent job about the above characters, why can't they spend a little more time on making the two yet to release characters right.

Some of us chose not to abandon the weaker players in our guild.. We're not slackers, we're just not elitist grasshats. If you put in too much effort to get stuff done that's on you. You could have looked at how many guilds were completing the raid, compared that with the number of total guilds/players and come to the reasonable conclusion that the raid was overtuned.
The raid needs a nerf, as EA has correctly concluded. If you feel like you put too much effort into getting the raid down... that's on you... you should have known better.
It seems like we will get tournaments on a biweekly basis, so how about 2 different character tournaments.
Like a shore trooper and imwe tournament and the player can choose one to enter based on the shards they want while the other prizes are the same.
That way they could have a past character tournament for people to finish shards on characters like shore trooper or you could go for the new character.

this is not an auction, it is a pathetic scam and of the worse kind. The difference between this pile of Russel Stover's they call a tournament and an auction is that in an auction the rule is fair and the highest bidder wins the prize while the others keep their currency.

That's fine for heroic, but have you tried 'normal'? We are 3+ weeks in, and we will finish our first tomorrow. That's not balanced.

Say what? That's not reality. First off, all characters are "carTOONy" versions of the movie characters, and toons you just named look near identical to the movie characters. Second, the rights to character likeness is dictated by Disney/Lucasfilm, not the actors.
Please don't nerf heroic, it goes so quick as it is. It's going to be done in 30 mins when everyone is L85 and geared up a little more, if it gets nerfed it will be a complete joke.
Make Normal with less HP, that sounds like it's the biggest problem with it. But for the love of god, do not nerf heroic.
Think of it like a penny auction. Except the person with the best team and most coins wins.

Its nothing to do with abandoning weaker players. We don`t abandon them either yet we are able to finish heroic. Everyone cryed for a harder Raid since the very easy first on. They mentioned the good toons quite in advance and evyone had the opporunity to farm good aat toons for free!!! It would be a shame if they nerfed it now. And for those who think in this game everyone should be able to get kenobishards for doing nothing: welcome to a payerbased game! don`t nerve the raid! its a hard one very challenging but if all players pull on the same strings you all can do it!!!
Hopefully the only nerf is to the health pool of the normal heroic raid, I want heroic to be a challenge but the normal could do with having its health chopped by 40% or so, maybe a bit more.

Your reward is six finished raids worth of rewards and a whole lot more general kenobi shards than most have.
The rest of us have gotten absoluty nothing from an aspect of the game we are supposed to be able to take part in for three weeks. Weve wasted so many tickets that we could have been using to recieve raid rewards every day. When we actually finish this outlandish raid we are gonna get a cruddy green raid box with a measly 400k after having done upwards of 50 attacks for the same raid. The reward is so astronomically disproportional from the effort we have to put in that there is little incentive for most guilds and their members to even try and get in attacks. Your mentality is ungrateful, selfish, and harmful to the community.
didnt notice it before, original title says "new tournament & tank (daily get)take down(ed)" while the content pretty much vaguely take notice of raid issue and a character release.
on other story, tells how super OP mod downfall in 2 days, why aat raid problem cant take the same amount of time like nerf-mod, its not like making a new content from the scratch right?
I'm just confused, I didn't think anyone was calling for a nerf to heroic. I thought the general consensus was to either lower health of normal or add a lower tier for other guilds.
I see a lot of defending a position that was not introduced.
We are working up to heroic and have tried twice and stalled out. I love that there is a challenge and something to work towards. We can run normal in 3 to 4 days and it's not terrible but it's just boring, you do have time to teat teams but that's the only benefit. There is no reason this content should not have another tier that would allow lower lvl guilds to complete it in a week, anything more then that is just rediculous.

Why dont you do yoda like events for new toon. Because the tournament sucks. Its a bore in my eyes.
Unfortunately your eyes aren't the only ones that count. I love the tournament--barely spend any ally tokens, get a million and a bit.

I dont do any refreshes. It defeats the object of a tournament. But im always in top 500. I just dont enjoy it.
