what we get is less communication and the Ocean of content is still a puddle.
we have not gotten less communication over the past 6 months. we have gotten all(but 1) of the regular updates and communication around each game update they have done.
CG seems prone to the age old mistake of “over promise, under deliver.” They should be doing the opposite and based on their last Q and A, maybe they’ve figured that out lol.
Either way, it is wild how they can’t seem to meet a deadline or even tell us when to expect something. We are literally 5 months into the year and have had 3 characters released, nothing else. GLs have been announced and planned forever, so I wouldn’t count those as 2020 content.

if you look back to the time previous to them saying they were changing the cadence on RA/SoTG, then what they have given us is more. missing one of the posts that was planned, in the past 6 months, I believe is still more than the regular communication before that.

1) The promised a Road Ahead in May. We still have two more weeks. A bit early to say they "over promised, under delivered"
2) Name one deadline they haven't met. If you're referring to the Road Ahead that is supposed to come in May, see above
3) You may not consider GLs 2020 content, but a calendar would. We've had 5 characters so far and two of them are brand-new types of characters. Not sure how you don't take that into consideration
Would have have easy enough to fix this with simple communication- dont tell people who are starving for information they will get it in may- every hour from may 1st midnight feels like you're falling behind - and probably feels that way more so with this game because theres a serious lack of content that allows us ample time to sit and think about what's next- because we are already done with whats now.
You should of could of said "road ahead is coming in the end of may" or "road ahead will come before June 1st"
When you say may- that's the 1st and you're late- technicalities aside- you set yourself up for failure when you commit to something you cant follow through on. There isn't a "literal" issue here, it's a perception one.
The only thing that keeps me in this game is the new game mode they have been promising for 6 months now.
And I can only hope that this has to be huge because they have talked about it for half a year and perhaps they will only now announce in May that it is in the process of being made... so when it will finally release it will has got almost a year preparation.

its good to be excited, I am too....but man, everyone just feeds off it and then it comes crashing down, because reality can never, just never live up to "it", literally never.
and no need to reply (not directed at the person i'm quoting, just in general) saying its their fault or their own doing because X,Y,Z...
One thing I think we can all agree on (even @Kyno ) is that even after CG acknowledged that 2019 was not a good year for content we are almost 6 months into this year and still have no content.
Discontentment will continue to rise from players until A. It’s fixed or B. Players start to quit.

This shouldn’t be the case though.
EA is one of the biggest gaming companies out there and their games should be top notch, delivering good content on the regular. They should be leaving competitors in the dust in this regard, not the other way around.
What games like this are leaving SWGOH in the dust? What metrics are you using to judge this?

Well...it was supposed to be in April...but the GL's uprooted that plan....just like [speculation]a new raid and relic abilities[/speculation]

The reason why? 11/20/2019 road ahead. It was also a Wednesday. Not much to go on, but that is exactly what we are going on, not much.
